Privacy Policy
Draft. This policy covers the private test of Vireo Studio. A reviewed version takes effect on the public launch date and will be posted here.
This policy explains how Zumintel LLC ('Vireo Studio', 'we', 'us') handles personal information when you use the Vireo Studio website and app. Questions: support@vireostudio.app.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and Google account id, from Google sign-in. We do not receive your Google password.
- Your content: the video and audio files you upload, and what Vireo Studio makes from them: transcripts, speaker labels, translations, your edits, glossaries and notes, separated voice and background tracks, dubbed audio, subtitles and exports.
- Voices: if you ask for a cloned voice, the voice samples taken from your file and your confirmation that you have the speaker's consent.
- Usage and billing: what each job used (minutes, credits, costs), and, once paid plans open, your plan and payment status. Card details go to our payment provider and are never stored by us.
- Technical data: server logs with IP address, browser type, the pages and actions requested and errors, used for security, abuse prevention and fixing faults.
How we use it
- to provide the service you ask for: transcribing, translating, voicing, mixing and exporting your files;
- to sign you in, keep your projects private to you, and email you when a job is ready or needs attention;
- to measure usage against your plan, prevent abuse and keep the service secure;
- to answer your messages.
We do not sell personal information, do not show ads, and do not use your content to train our own models.
Who processes it for us
We use these providers to run the service. Each receives only what its task needs:
- Google (Gemini API): transcription support, translation and some voices; Google sign-in.
- ElevenLabs: transcription, voices and, when you ask for one, voice cloning.
- Modal: GPU processing that separates voices from music and background sound.
- Fly.io (app servers), Neon (database) and Cloudflare (file storage, website, DNS and email forwarding): hosting, in the United States.
- Resend: the emails we send you.
- Stripe: payments, once paid plans open.
How long we keep it
- Media (your uploaded file, separated tracks, samples and exports): during the private test, deleted automatically 14 days after upload, or 7 days on a free trial. The project page tells you before it happens.
- Project records (transcript, translation, settings and the dubbed lines): until you delete the project or your account.
- Cloned voices: until you delete the voice, the project, or your account.
- Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Logs: up to 30 days, longer only when needed to investigate abuse.
Deleting a project removes its files and record. To delete your account and everything in it, write to support@vireostudio.app from the address you sign in with; we do it within 30 days.
YouTube data
Connecting a YouTube channel is optional. Vireo Studio uses YouTube API Services. By connecting, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What we read
Your channel's name and picture, the list of your uploads, and for the videos you open: title, description, duration, existing translations and subtitle tracks.
What we write
Only after you review a preview and click Push, and only the items you ticked: translated titles and descriptions, and subtitle tracks, on your own video. We never upload videos, never download videos from YouTube, and never change anything else.
What we keep
Your channel id and name, an encrypted refresh token, which project is linked to which of your videos, and the results of your pushes. Stored video titles are refreshed or removed within 30 days. Your list of videos is not kept.
Revoking access
Click Disconnect in Vireo Studio, or remove Vireo Studio at myaccount.google.com/permissions. On Disconnect we delete the token and the channel link at once; after a revoke at Google, within a day.
Vireo Studio's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube data is used only to provide the features above, is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared except with the providers needed to run them.
Cookies
The app uses one cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived one during sign-in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. This website sets no cookies.
Security
Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Files are reached only through short-lived signed links. Sessions and YouTube tokens are stored in a form that a copy of the database cannot use. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, its correction or its deletion, and object to or restrict its use, by writing to support@vireostudio.app. Depending on where you live you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Vireo Studio is not for anyone under 16.

We will post changes here and change the date above. For important changes we will also email you.
